Adharvan Sai J is a highly motivated and passionate individual with a strong desire to excel in the field of Computer Science. With a constant thirst for knowledge, he believes that innovation and thinking outside the box are the keys to success. Adharvan is a 'Jack of All Trades And Master of Some,' which has helped him gain expertise in various fields. Currently pursuing his Master's degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University, Adharvan is working as a Solutions Engineer, where he has designed and developed a suite of tools, websites, and algorithms to enhance the English language pronunciation of non-native speakers. He has collaborated with linguists and experts in the field to translate existing research along with novel ideas and algorithms to solve evolving problems in the field of Computational Linguistics. The open-source applications are now being beta-tested by students and experts across institutions, preparing to be rolled out to general users. Adharvan is currently working on the next version of the applications, designing a new algorithm to adopt a novel approach to perform the most accurate orthographic mapping, probably for the first time, which could be a breakthrough in the field of computational linguistics. Prior to his current role, Adharvan worked as a Software Infrastructure Engineer at Zoox, where he was part of the Pipedream team that handles Zoox's super-compute infrastructure. He developed a new application to efficiently perform various operations on the Slurm scheduler, AWS EC2 compute nodes, and Zoox's on-prem compute resources remotely. He also improved the functionality of a scheduler priority bumping tool to accommodate effective bumping of priorities of jobs run by Zoox's developers. Before that, he worked as an Application Developer Level -2 (Staff Consultant) at Oracle. Adharvan holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Vasavi College of Engineering. He is proficient in various technologies such as Software Engineering, infra, AWS, Research Scientist, Python, Docker, and Web. With a relevant experience of 2.69 years, Adharvan is a highly skilled and versatile professional with a passion for innovation and excellence in the field of Computer Science.
